Blue Stained Memories

Created during a visit to my family in Georgia, Blue Stained Memories captures the quiet joy of tradition—of summer mornings spent picking blueberries with my Grandan, and now, with my grandson.

The branches were clipped fresh from the bush and pressed beneath the Southern sun to create this cyanotype. I later added watercolor details to the berries, letting memory and place come alive on the page.

This piece holds more than pigment—it holds the laughter, the stained fingers, and the soft, enduring thread that ties generations together.
