More Than a Dishcloth

More Than a Dishcloth

Why I Added Swedish Dishcloths to the Wildflower Studio

I'll be honest. When I first heard about Swedish dishcloths I wasn't sure they were for me.

But then I started using one and I understood immediately. One dishcloth replaces up to 17 rolls of paper towels, absorbs more than a regular sponge, dries fast, and washes easily. They earn their place on your counter in a way that paper towels never do.

So I decided to make my own.

Why Botanical Art Belongs in Your Kitchen

Everything in The Wildflower Studio starts with the same process. Botanicals gathered from Colorado gardens, hillsides, and my travels, laid on watercolor paper I prepare by hand and set in the sun. That cyanotype process is at the heart of every piece I make, from original art to tea towels to these dishcloths.

The Sunset Meadow and Teal Wildflowers designs are printed from my original botanical artwork, so every dishcloth carries the same creative DNA as the pieces hanging in collectors' homes. Just in a much more practical form.

How to Use Them

They work exactly like a regular dishcloth or sponge. Rinse and wring after each use, lay flat or hang to dry, and toss in the washing machine when needed. Simple.

Shop the Collection

Both designs are available now in the shop. They also pair beautifully with the matching tea towels for a coordinated kitchen that feels intentional every single day.
