Where it all begins...

Every piece begins the same way. Botanicals gathered from Colorado gardens, hillsides, and my travels, laid on watercolor paper I prepare by hand and set in the sun.That process is at the heart of everything I create, originals layered with watercolor and gold by hand, tea towels, dishcloths, note cards, and gift tags that carry the same botanical beauty. No two pieces are identical. The sun, the water, and the botanicals make sure of that.

Why I create...

...because it brings me joy. To work with sunlight and nature, to layer gold and color onto something made from light, and to make art for people who feel deeply connected to the natural world. Art that changes the way a room feels. I also love helping people discover their own creativity through classes and workshops here in the studio.
