Hidden away in a backyard in Salida, her garden is a showoff in the best possible way. Wildflowers at every height, color spilling in every direction, more abundance than you'd ever expect to find tucked behind a fence.
This piece began as a cyanotype, made from sunlight and flowers gathered there on a summer day. Watercolor and gold were added by hand, letting the color bloom the way the garden does, quietly at first and then all at once.
