Forest Floor

I love the hush you find under a canopy of ferns, where everything smells of damp earth and green. This original cyanotype captures those fronds overlapping in layers of blue, with one brushed in gold as if a beam of sunlight found its way through. Fine gold linework traces each leaf, and little splashes of gold catch the light as you move past it.
