Moonrise

This is a summer solstice night. The moon rising full and gold over a meadow of cattails and wild grasses, everything reaching upward toward the light.

Made with sunlight on cyanotype paper, embellished with gold watercolor and gold pen. The deep indigo blue holds the warmth of the longest day, and the grasses stand still in that suspended moment just before everything turns.
