Where My Roots Began is a reflection of the landscape that first shaped me. Inspired by my Southern beginnings, this piece carries the depth, humidity, and layered light of memory. The Japanese maple, with its reaching branches and rich tones, represents foundation — the soil that raised me and the quiet strength woven into who I am.
