The light doesn't leave all at once. It shifts slowly, the blue deepening, the air cooling, the world going quiet in a way that only happens at the end of a good day.

This piece was created from sunlight and aspen branches in that last golden hour, when the light was still there but just barely, and everything felt suspended between one moment and the next.
