What the Stars Know is a diptych in two parts: She Faces East and She Follows West. Each panel a 24x60 inch original on cradled wood.These sunflowers came from a friend.

The cyanotypes surprised me. And then for months, the panels just waited – until the painting came, slowly, the way it was meant to.

Mixed media on cradled wood panel: torn cyanotype, collage papers, acrylic paint, gold pen, and gold watercolor. The gold splatters across that deep Prussian blue always remind me of a night sky that has been watching, and waiting, and knowing all along.
