There is a moment in midsummer when a garden stops holding anything back. Every stem reaching, every bloom open, everything happening all at once.

This piece was created from sunlight and wildflowers gathered from a friend's garden on exactly that kind of day. The flowers are pressed into the deep indigo blue the way summer itself feels, full, abundant, and over too soon.
